Price: $10 * Buy At: Khols * Size: 0.03 fl oz The Eyelure Brow Ink in Blonde is a cool toned taupe felt tip brow color. The Eyelure Brow Ink is a double ended pen with a chiseled tip on one end and a thin pointed tip on the other. I think the idea of a felt tip brow color is pretty cool, it’s too bad that it hasn’t quite caught on as a trend. With this product, I found the fine tip to be more pigmented than the chiseled tip, but that may be because someone messed with it before I purchased it, as the box had no kind of seal. I think that this slightly sheer color looks great on the inner part of the brow to give the brows an ombre effect. When applied on the entire brow, it gives a more natural look, with the slight transparency allowing individual brow hairs to peek through the color. The product gives a bit of hold to the brows, but I still prefer to combine it with either a clear or tinted gel. XOX ♥

Price: $7 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 10 mL The Nyx Eyebrow Gel in Blonde is a taupe cream brow color. The Nyx Eyebrow Gel comes in a small squeeze tube, unlike most brow color products. Once the product has set, it is completely smudge and water resistant. This product will give you brows that last all day. Personally, I will put a bit of product on the back of my hand and then dip my brow brush in to apply it to my brows. If you use enough product, it will provide some hold to the brow hairs, but I always set it with a clear brow gel anyways. I find this product pretty easy to apply, and it does not dry out like potted brow colors since it is in a squeeze tube. Due to the format, it is not the quickest way to fill in the brows, but I find myself using it all of the time! XOX ♥
Price: $4.49 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 5 mL / 0.17 fl oz The Rimmel Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel in Medium Brown is a tinted brow gel designed to define and fill the brows. The Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel comes in a small tube with a small cone shaped wand. While the wand isn’t super tiny like Benefit’s brow gel, but it is smaller than many brow gels on the market. While I thought medium brown might be a bit dark for my brows, it actually works out quite well on me. It is a bit warm for my hair and skin, but when layered over my other brow products it looks great. The product has a wet gel formula that applies very easily to the brows. It doesn’t clump up on the brow hairs either. I find the color and hold to last throughout the day, but a touch up in the afternoon or evening could be good. XOX ♥
Price: $15 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 18.98 g The Makeup Revolution Ultra Brow Palette in Medium to Dark contains four powder brow colors, two cream brow colors, a cream highlight, a shimmery powder highlight, a brow pencil, two brushes & mini tweezers. The Makeup Revolution Ultra Brow Brow Palette comes in a sleek black package that has a large mirror under the lid. All the brow colors have very good pigmentation. The only gripe I have with this palette is there really isn't much variation between the brow colors so I don't notice much of a difference between them on the brows. The cream highlighter is very thin and I don't really see much of a use for it. The powder highlight, on the other side is a very pretty light pink with good color payoff. I am not a fan of really tiny tools, so the brushes, pencil and tweezers haven't really gotten any use, and they probably will not. XOX ♥
Price: $5.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 9 g / 0.3 oz The Nyx Control Freak Brow Gel comes in a somewhat large white tube. It has a large natural bristle wand that tapers at the ends. Just the right amount of product comes off on the wand when you pull it out of the tube; I never have to wipe off the wand before application. It feels rather dry when combing through the brows, which makes it so the gel doesn’t smudge or move around the brow color you already have on. I find that the Control Freak Brow Gel holds my brows in place all day, without making them feel crispy or too hard. XOX ♥
Price: $6.99 * Buy At: Ulta * Size: 5 g / 0.18 oz The Nyx Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade in Brunette is a medium cool toned brown cream brow product. The Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade comes in a small plastic pot with a square base. This may be an odd way of describing a brow product, but I find the product to have a somewhat balmy feel. This is what keeps the product from going on too intense and opaque, but don't get me wrong, this product does have some great color payoff. The Tame & Frame Brow Pomade is not an exact dupe of the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade, but they are quite similar in application and appearance. The Anastasia one does not budge at all when you rub it, while the Nyx one does fade a little bit. However, you probably are not going to be rubbing your eye brows throughout the day, so it should not be an issue. The Dip Brow Pomade is more on the creamy side, where as the Nyx version has more of a balmy texture. I have the Dip Brow Pomade in the shade Medium Brown, which is darker and a tad bit cooler in tone than Brunette. Overall, the Tame & Frame Brow Pomade is a really nice product and while I still think I prefer the Pomade by Anastasia, if you are looking to save some money, this one is a great choice as well! Price: $3.99 * Buy At: Target * Size: 0.44 fl oz / 13 ml The Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in the Clear shade is meant for use on the brows and the lashes. I will be reviewing it as a brow gel, as I will not be using this product as a mascara. Just like the original (black) Great Lash mascara, this one has a typical, old-school mascara wand. I think that the wand is a little bit long for setting brows, but it is still easy to work with. The Clear Great Lash mascara has a quite wet formula and does need some time to set. It sets to a fairly soft, touchable feel and it does not make the brows feel hard or crunchy. The Great Lash clear mascara holds the brow hairs in place all day. You can also use this on your lashes, but clear mascara for lashes is not my thing. XOX ♥
PRODUCT INFORMATION Price: $6.49 Buy At: Target Size: 0.15 oz / 4.2 g The Milani Brow Fix Brow Kit (in 01 Light) comes with a shimmery ivory highlight shade, a light & dark brow powder, angled brow brush, tweezers, sponge eye shadow applicator & a mirror. I think the compact of this brow kit is really cool. Part of it lifts up to reveal a mirror & holds the three mini tools next to the powders. I am really impressed with the quality of the brow powders & the highlight shadow. They are all smooth and not chalky at all. I really like the highlight shade, I don't know if I'd use it as a brow highlight though because I prefer matte brow highlights. XOX ❤ Product Information Price: $22 Buy At: Sephora Size: 0.28 oz On Anastasia's Website: http://www.anastasia.net/clear-brow-gel.html ***I got the mini version of this gel in my May Ipsy bag.*** Anastasia says "This Best-Selling Formula tames unruly brows without leaving them stiff, flaky or sticky. Fortified with rich botanical conditioners and essential oils, this luxurious formula can be worn alone or layered over Anastasia’s Brow Powder Duo or Brow Pencils to set your perfect application all day." I found this gel to feel quite more watery than other brow gels I have tried. It feels basically applying water to your brows. This formula makes it nice and easy to apply to your eyebrows. Here's how the gel wore on me: I applied the gel at 6:10 am, at this point, I noticed that it doesn't have a waxy feel & gives the brows a less hard look than my Elf gel. At 8:20 I noticed that my brows were still shaped, but, the hairs feel harder than they did when applied. At 10:00 a few hairs were out of place. 12:20 brought a flaky feel, also they started too feel less hard. Finally at 9:00 pm, it was still holding but lost the hard & crunchy feel. Overall, it's a nice gel, but I didn't notice enough difference from my Elf brow gel to spend 21 more dollars.
